I took my two children out for a little photo shoot two weekends ago while my friend Stephanie was in town. She's interested in photography as well, so it was the perfect opportunity for her to observe what's involved in a typical child's outdoor portrait session. (Although I think she was more concerned about keeping my children warm than practicing her camera techniques.)

Jr., Alden, and Stephanie
Dina has a nasty cold, so we'll all have to wait a couple more days for her answers to my last couple questions. In the meantime, here's some eye-candy for you while you wait. Hope you feel well soon, Dina.

Awww! I feel so loved. Yes, I was more concerned with keeping your little ones warm :) but I have to say that your mothers/photographer's intuition was right on bc these pics are so fun. I miss you all too!
They are precious! Where can I find those awesome tutu's?!
Those are Belle Ame pettiskirts. They are usually available at fru-fru children's boutique stores. Someone once told me there's a place in Nashville that sells them. Does Sams sound familiar? I got mine at a place called Safari Kids in Plano, TX. They are only sold through boutiques, or you have to buy direct in bulk and set up an account.
